So I registered for the new forum and still have not gotten a link to
finish registration or I would be there with my question... Btw, someone
named MARY posted the most brilliant question about splashphoto and the
desktop not opening which sounded exactly like my email of a few days
ago....hmmm, I am flattered.

So, is there another way to deal with my problem with the desktop not
opening? I must have about 2000 photos on splashphoto, its going to take
forever to go thru them. Can I delete the whole program, and reinstall and
sync or am I going to make my problems worse?

Yes, I forgot to mention that we reposted a couple of forum posts such as
yours to get some content up there before we opened the doors. Thanks for
being our unwitting puppet...

Unfortunately, uninstalling will not touch your SplashPhoto data. It is
either a bad photo or the database that stores info about the photos that is
corrupt, and uninstalling will have no effect.

Parting my butting in, but perhaps I can save you some time. I also
didn't receive the message with the registration link. At my request
they resent it, and I still didn't get it. To make a looong story short,
I finally found both messages in a "junk" folder on my account at Yahoo.com.

It was a file that I hadn't even known existed. From the looks of it, Yahoo
has graciously 'saved' me from many 'junk' messages, although one couldn't
know that from the number that has gotten through.

Just a thought, HTH!

Hi Bill,

Thanks for pointing that out. This is probably what is happening to anyone
not receiving the confirmation email.

You should add splashdata.com to your list of safe senders. The registration
email comes from noreply AT splashdata DOT com.
